how to make banana, apple + pear chips

I've talked about my Excalibur dehydrator before.

I love her, but I haven't used her in a while.

This {extended} time at home has actually made me pull out all of my kitchen gadgets and use them {pandemic win?}. A mama can only come up with so many ideas for meals and snacks.

I love the satisfaction of slow food. It takes a bit longer, but there is something deeply gratifying about it.

I use this dehydrator but here are a few of my favorites at every price range.

Smaller Excalibur, Nesco large, medium, small.

I use these non-stick dehydrator sheets for my machine.

We are big into turning just about anything into a chip these days.

Kale

Banana

Apple

Sweet potato

Zucchini

Snap pea crisps

Potato

Pear

I’m going to show you how to make the most simple fruit chips whether you have a dehydrator or not.

Save yourself some money cause these are easy to make and are costly to buy ready-made. The kids will love helping out!

Cut bananas into 1/4 inch slices

Line your dehydrator with non-stick sheets

Lay banana slices in a single layer

Apple Chips

Method:
